How We Got Here
Tree Service Topeka KS started in 2008 when our founder. A working climber who'd spent years watching out-of-town crews mistreat Topeka's heritage bur oaks and ash trees. Decided to build a tree service that did the job the right way. ISA-certified, properly insured, and refusing the shortcuts that destroy trees and leave homeowners liable.
Seventeen years later, we still do every job by the same standards. We've worked through the December 2007 ice storm, the 2017 ice events, the 2018 Shawnee County tornadoes, and recent derechos and ice storms in 2024-2025. We're a phone call away in July when nothing's broken and at 2 a.m. when a tree is on your roof.
What Makes Us Different

We Refuse to "Top" Trees
Topping is the #1 abuse in this industry. It destroys tree structure, opens trees to rot, and creates worse hazards within 5 years. The ISA estimates topped trees lose 25-50% of their lifespan. We will always offer a proper crown reduction instead. And we'll explain why.
We Carry Real Insurance
$2,000,000 general liability and full workers' compensation. Most of our competitors carry significantly less, or aren't insured at all. Always ask any tree service for proof of both before they start work. Uninsured crews leave YOU liable for property damage and crew injuries.
We Tell You The Truth
If your tree can be saved with a $300 cable instead of a $4,500 removal, we'll tell you. If your "treatable" disease isn't actually treatable, we'll tell you that too. Honest assessments build long-term clients. Short-term upsells don't.
